Religion and Conflict

Our conference programme is now available:

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Religious Archives Group conference on the theme of Religion & Conflict will take place on Wednesday 28 June at Luther King House in Manchester. We look forward to welcoming you to this one-day in-person event.
The conference will run from 11am-5pm with lunch and refreshments included. We have an exciting programme shaping up which will be shared soon. The conference fee is £48 and the deadline for booking is Wednesday 14 June. To confirm your place, please complete the booking form below and return it to our Treasurer at the email address given on the form.


Bursary
We are also pleased be able to offer a bursary for a student or archive volunteer to attend the conference. The bursary can be used to cover the conference fee and travel if required. Applications should be in the form of a personal statement of no more than 250 words demonstrating how attendance will assist the personal and professional development of the applicant and outlining the nature of the candidate’s interest in the field of religious archives and any relevant work or projects which have been undertaken to date. If travel costs are requested, please also provide details. Applications must be emailed to religiousarchivesgroup@googlemail.com by Friday 26 May.


Accommodation
